For the insurance situation, call the insurance company. If your insurance has expired, you will have to arrange with them, the renewal of the policy. I'm sure they can take down all the particulars over the phone..ask them to send you a wallet card in the mail. I don't know who pays your insurance, & you didn't say your age. If the insurance is in your parents' name, & you are a sub-driver, they will have to know about it because the renewal policy should have been sent to them. If this isn't the case, do what I suggest (contacting the Insurance Company). You also didn't say where you are now, but said you were moving to Texas. You might attend the courthouse where the officer has written on your ticket..or go to the ticket office itself & explain your situation. You may be able to have the hearing moved forward. At least you're being honest about it..advising that you are moving out of state, etc.
