How easy it is to maintain fixed partial denture? I am planning to get one for my missing lower molars.?

I am forty one and really confused whether to get removable or fixed dentures for 4 of my lower molars. Will the bridge weaken by healthy ones. Its taken me years to decide to go for dentures - been living with gaps !!
