Is Islam a loving and accepting faith?

I love VOICE OF THE MARTYRS. The tell what's really going on in the East and the horrendous persecution people suffer for their faith at the hands of Muslims and in China. in most Muslim countries it is the death penalty for believing converting to another faith, especially the Christian faith.
