Isn't Halo 3's recap feature like that of the movie Deja Vu?

Yes kind of apart from you don't actually go back in time to stop say yoursewlf from being blown to pieces. Also, in halo 3 they didn't make a girl as pretty as the one from the movie and in halo 3, you don't have to stop a bomb from going off. I think it's a good idea though because if you did something so incredible and no-one believed you, you could just show them and also you can learn from your mistakes and learn from other ppls techniques.
