Avoidant personality disorder?

It sounds like you have been worried about it and know that there is a problem (that's why you were compelled to look it up to such an extent) I will not pretend to know how serious it is but consider your age. Fourteen was not a fun year for me and many changes are taking place in your body and mind. Kids are cruel at school and everyone toots their own horn, trying to fit in. You may just be turned off by that or you might have a serious problem that can be fixed while it is in its early stages. It depends on how much you avoid people. Ask yourself some constructive questions. Do you have any friends or anyone to talk to? Is there a way you can make your presence known to others without any troubles at all? How long have you felt restrained. You sound very smart for your age so it will be hard to deal with some of the other teens. Do not ignore it. Pursue it before it gets worse by talking to someone you can trust, like a parent or relative, etc. Examine your behavior and try to find out why you feel inferior at times. Come out of your shell slowly and in little ways. Pardon my boldness, but saying a few prayers every now and then got me through it. It could just be a bad time in your life or teenage angst, but it is always good to talk to someone about it. Don't give up! Sorry this was long but I hope everything will be okay. :-)
