Would you Dump your girlfriend cuz she didn't support you???

My boyfriend asked me $60. We're both students, but he asked me right around the time that my bills (rent, ect.)were due. At first i said yes, then after rethinking the situation, I told him i couldn't do it. He's borrowed money b4 and never paid me back. After i told him i couldn't do it & why, he ignored me. He wouldn't answer my calls. When we finally did talk, he was pissed about me not givin him the $, but he wouldn't look at it from my point of view. We broke up last week, he said it wasn't b/c of the situation, but I believe it was. I love him, but money split us apart, maybe I don't understand where he's coming from. Does anyone get his point?
