Civil suit for scam check?

i got a check for 3490.00 in the mail from green hope trust. i took it to the local check cashing place. they viewed the check called the verify phone number on the check wrote a confirm number on the check and cashed it under insurance for 10%. they did this because they didn't know where to file it as it was a winner check. i was then charged with making the check forging the check and felony larceny. went to court they null prosed it because the commonwealth atty. didn't have any evidence on the charges. now i got to go to civil court for a civil suit for the amount and interest and court costs. this check place called the number on the check and accepted it. they decided it must be a good check . and cashed it. i am going to fight it. i guess i want to ask what type of lawyer should i call??? or any input you may have.. thanks
