Is it worth buying a 1800 pontiac firebird and fixing it up for a lil resale?

I am looking into buying a pontiac firebird but I dont wanna put money into something that won't be worth the resell. Im not looking into a huge profit but at least a couple hundred so i can get something nicer the second time around.
