Getting my top braces off without the bottoms?

I am not too sure about the whole lisp thing....sounds weird. I too had my top braces off before my bottom ones. When I had my retainers made I got the free silver ones....but they will probably give you a temporay clear one while you wait on the silver one. You could just wear that one during the day (if you are good and wear it) and wear the silver one at night. To be honest, I thought the silver ones held my teeth in place better. And don't think your teeth won't shift if you don't wear them...they will! It's pretty surprising how fast they can move actually. I know they will tell you to wear your retainers constantly when your braces are removed but if you are anything like I was, you will wanna show off your new smile! But, really try and wear those pesky retainers every night. Otherwise you will kick yourself down the road. Ok, I'm rambling....I know you are probably counting the days til you can not be a braceface :)
